Professional judgement assessment preview

A person wants change, but their inner “Advisor” keeps warning them they will fail. What should the learner practise?

A. Help them notice the Advisor as a protective process, reconnect with values and identify a small Discoverer step that does not require confidence first.
B. Argue against the Advisor’s warning until the person accepts that the thought is irrational and unhelpful.
C. Encourage them to ignore the thought completely because paying attention to it usually makes avoidance worse.
D. Set a larger goal so the person has enough pressure to push through the Advisor’s doubts.

Preferred answer: A. DNAV helps people notice inner processes, orient towards values and take workable steps rather than debating every difficult thought.

Assessment design: Dragonfly uses sample scenarios with plausible distractors, balanced answer lengths and deliberate complexity checks so staff have to read carefully rather than guess the longest or most detailed option.
